Instant style links still worth it? (Profile links etc)

Out of curiosity in 2018 are people still seeing SERP movement by the creation of instant links such as Pinterest profile links and Vimeo links?

Not really. Those days are long gone. Just about the best way to bring your site up in the search engines is guest posting.

Creating profile links take too much time and effort. However, you should always have a YouTube, Instagram, etc account. So those you should have by default. But I wouldn't personally go any further than those sites.
