I have only recently noticed (not sure how long they have been doing it) that google once again shows a little extra love for their own sites above all other sites. Case in point - blogger.com People who use a blogspot.com blog and put their picture in their profile on that blog - google displays that photo beside their search result link. So, if you care to rank a blogger blog for any type of keyword, you can use a simple image of a few stars on a white background, and the average surfer will take this as some sort of special signal that this content is somehow special. So, for all of you guys who are messing around with plugins and what not in your attempts to get stars by your site listing, just look in your old inventory to find one of the blogger blogs you started and abandoned and just slap that pic in the profile and you have instant eye-candy for surfers. Update the page with good content, sling some links toward it - enjoy life with stars by your listing.
