What kind of "authenticate" did you get? Is that a captcha? If so, thats normal because Twitter always ask people to solve captcha to perform some tasks (change name, change email, upload...) Why my website needs to write something that's happen normally

If changing the name or trying to convert to a business account would result in the account being unusable, it would have been nice to know that before purchasing.

I apologize, I was worried that clicking Authenticate would trigger some non-reversible process. I ended up attempting to Authenticate anyways and you were correct, its a captcha and I am able to use the account. False alarm!
