I am installing PIWIK to my wordpress Via Filezilla.

When I transfer the file over to my domain name. It wants to overwrite my 'index.php' file.

I overwrote it and when ever I type mydomain.com it would just show the Piwik login page not my actual homepage

But if I don't overwrite it, then when I type mydomain.com/piwik the login page doesn't appear at all.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks

From my experience of using piwik, it takes alot of server load.

If you have a sever dedicated to using piwik as your "traffic tracking" system, it will be the best alternative.

If you don't, you might as well use Google Analytics :/

    Don't touch the REP!
You are copying it to your root directory "/". :yield:

You need to copy it to the mydomain.com/piwik directory. :thumb:

Piwik and wordpress cannot/WILL NOT work in the same directory! :yield:

    Enjoy ..... :cool2:
