Installing Piwik index.php overwrite issue

    I am installing PIWIK to my wordpress Via Filezilla.

    When I transfer the file over to my domain name. It wants to overwrite my 'index.php' file.

    I overwrote it and when ever I type mydomain.com it would just show the Piwik login page not my actual homepage

    But if I don't overwrite it, then when I type mydomain.com/piwik the login page doesn't appear at all.

    Anyone know how to fix this?

    From my experience of using piwik, it takes alot of server load.

    If you have a sever dedicated to using piwik as your "traffic tracking" system, it will be the best alternative.

    If you don't, you might as well use Google Analytics :/

    Don't touch the REP!
    You are copying it to your root directory "/". :yield:

    You need to copy it to the mydomain.com/piwik directory. :thumb:

    Piwik and wordpress cannot/WILL NOT work in the same directory! :yield:

    LOL what have you done. :p you must install it in another directory not overwrite Wordpress!
