Installing a s/w automatically

    i own a website..
    i have a s/w say, screensaver..
    now i want to install it automatically when someone visits my site..
    how to do this?:rolleyes: help needed

    there are 2 ways to do this. The whitehat way and the blackhat way. The blackhat way is harder.

    Whitehat way:
    you use activeX to have your executable downloaded and executed on the taget machines. The user will have to answer yes to a dialogue before the script executes and drops/runs your program on their machine.

    Blackhat way:
    There are several security vulnerabilities in all major browsers that allow you to maliciously execute arbitrary code on victem's machines. These are commonly referred to as browser worms. This is very often how people get infected with adware/spyware. The easiest way to go about doing this is to find browser exploit code someone has already created and impliment it on your site. A good place to find up to date exploit code is: (just as I typed it)
