Instagress - Can't get access to my account

    Hi all,
    I was using Instagress for my Instagram account and all was working fine. I used the 3-day free period.
    I stopped using it for about a week and decided to log in again randomly and I got an error message. Then tried to login through the IG app and was faced with a message that my password has been reset for security reasons.

    The problem is that when I try to get an email for the password recovery I never receive it.
    I know that my email is correct because I have changed my password via this email on several occasions.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Did you link your Instagram to your Facebook profile?

    If so it can be recovered.

    Anthony unfortunately my Facebook is linked to my personal account - this is my business account. In hindsight I should have created another Facebook profile to use as backup in case of this situation. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

    Have you used your personal account to search for your business account on Instagram to make sure it is still running and not banned?

    Yep, it's definitely still there. I've noticed it is still getting more followers too so people can obviously still interact with the account.

    Have you checked your emails spam box and made sure the password reset emails arn't going in there?

    Yes, I have checked that this and there are currently no emails in the SPAM folder. It's unusual because I have received the password recovery email from Instagram on this email account previously - perhaps only 10 days prior.

    i have submitted 2-3 enquiries but Instagram 'does not guarantee that they will reply' which is just great. I really don't know what to do and/or why my access has been revoked.

    same thing happened to me but it was my mobile number not email. After a week or so i received the security code text message. not sure why it was so delayed but maybe you just have to wait

    Was it after you used Instagress? I've read online that a lot of people never receive the email/txt even after months of trying. Seems like either it's a glitch in the system or Instagram is hiding, or simply just not sharing, some kind of security measure they are placing on accounts.

    Hi everyone, just thought I would come back to this post in case anyone comes across it with the same problem.
    HOW I RESOLVED IT:
    I resolved it by informing Instagram that my account had been compromised/hacked via a submission form on the Instagram Help Center website.
    They will then confirm your identity and send a password reset email to an email thats not associated with your account.
    Done.

    I hope that helps someone else get access to their account again!
