Instagram wanted username

Hey guys, anyone knows is it possible to get instagram username that is already taken. It doesnt have any posts, followers, profile picture, nothing. Anyone knows some tricks to get it?

I think the only option would be to get in contact with the owner of the username somehow and make a deal. There is no way I lose a username that I registered, unless the site has some policies which deletes accounts based on user inactivity. Unfortunately, Instagram doesnt have anything like that as of now.
