so I posted a BANGER last night, it didn't get views initially so I went to sleep, woke up to see it had only gotten 33 views

asked around and apparently insta is facing a bug rn, not updating views and not pushing videos

anyone else facing the same?

I haven't seen reports of a system-wide bug like this. It is likely your account is just being throttled or shadowbanned for posting content that looks spammy. Try engaging with other posts for a day to warm it up before posting again.

I have actually seen a bunch of people face this, especially in the clipper discord servers and on reddit as well

I am yet to hear of any such report anywhere, although it's not totally impossible. You could be shadowbanned which can be another factor for the results you are getting. check your account settings to see if that's your case

i haven't seen or heard about a bug like this before i believe that people doesn't find it entertaining or its not reaching the right people or you are shadow banned

How are your other videos performing and how much average views they get? So we can compare the views loss which happened.

Could your video be violating some unwritten rule? I think you should delete it and re-upload it at a different time.

My account is still functioning normally, posts are still getting a lot of views overnight, and the videos I posted got nearly 3000 views in one night, so it doesn't seem like a widespread error. You can check your account to see where the problem is

I haven't recorded any system issues, your account may have been restricted or shadow-banned due to content showing signs of spam please check your account status again to see what happens

It's likely a combination of IG's real-time analytics sync delay and initial AI safety checks.
When Meta pushes algorithm updates, new Reels often get held in a small test bucket for 12–24 hours to process copyright and content guidelines before hitting the main Explore feed; you can check back in 24 hours without deleting or reuploading the video.

Yeah, looks like you’re not alone, There were quite a few reports yesterday of Reels showing stuck/incorrect view counts while likes and comments were still coming in. So 33 views might not actually be the real performance.

Yeah, I’m experiencing the same thing. My views seem to be stuck too, and the videos aren’t getting pushed like they normally do. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

There have been similar cases before where the reel has been inactive for several hours and then the viewings begans.
i wont delete or post the reel now since that will just reset the test process by insta .

I just posted one and that seems to be getting normal engagement, the clipping servers im in are also reporting normal-ish behavior now, lessee how it goes, thanks for the replies guys :)

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a "view count glitch" on Instagram; the most likely reason for your situation is that your account has been "shadowbanned" by the platform.

I’ve noticed view counts can sometimes update slowly, so I’d give it another day before judging performance. Hopefully Instagram fixes the issue soon for everyone.

Could be a temporary glitch, but I’d check the insights again later and see if your next reel gets normal reach before assuming the account is affected.
