Hey! I got into a very strange situation whereas I really now pissed off and want to contact Instagram somehow to discuss about it and solve it.

    The situation is this:

    1. I have created new Instagram account for my brand.
    2. After two weeks, I put 9 branded images into the new account.
    3. I have only used 2 hashtags with each post.
    4. What I have realized later on, is that I have used semi-banned hashtag.
    5. None of the branded posts are visible under those hashtags.
    6. I have even tried to post other pictures with random hashtags (with low posts), and even I can't find my posts under those hashtags.
    7. It seems that I got shadow-banned whereas I don't know what to do, because I have branded all the images (over 400), created a logo, everything,... and I got shadow-banned.
    8. Now it seems I got to say Byebye to my brand because I got shadow-banned and Instagram thinks that I am spamming/using banned hashtag (very similar hashtag has pictures of boobs).
    9. Maybe I got shadow-banned because I was using very similar hashtag to the banned one who has boob pictures with that hashtag, and that hashtag has XOXO keyword in it (as XOXO means spam and inappropriate content).

I have created everything with that hashtag - It is the brand name, watermarked images with it, and I want to use that hashtag (the same as my brand name and instagram username) for bigger exposure and branding purposes.

I am so pissed right now and don't know what to do.

Do you have any advice or tip how to come up with some clever ideas to get rid of those problems and start building my brand?

    Thank you guys :)

Unfortunately, unless the brand is already big, it sounds like your best option is to change the name. I know you don't want to hear that, but things like this happen when starting a business. It'll be extremely hard to get in contact with Insta in the first place, and as far as I'm aware they would not make an exception unless you were a HUGE influential company. You'll probably spend as much time worrying and working on fixing the situation then you would to change it and keep going. Don't get discouraged and don't stress! Just a bump in the road! Keep it up :)

read my shadow ban fix thread... have you edited each photo and removed the tags? try doing this and upload a new photo with a few normal tags to test
