Is there a way to download a photo + the caption of the photo automatically? Or is there maybe a faster way in FL to add captions to each picture, cause if you have 100s of pictures and have to make a unique caption each time it takes a while.
    Thanks

I think that Massplanner offers the opportunity to add hashtags on the photos and post them automatically from RSS feeds. Everything is automated and you can make the hashtags to be different every time.

In MassPlanner there is a Repost feature. So there's no need to download the image and the caption, you can just enter the posts you wanna repost and MassPlanner does it automatically for you.

I prefer Followliker over Massplaner. And Massplanner is a bit to pricey for my taste.

There is a feature in Followliker. Just convert an Instagram feed to an Rss feed and then followliker reposts with caption. Only 3 problems: 1. image quality is to low 2. Image Md5 is the same 3. no control to check captions first.

So from what I do in the Moment is:

    1. download the pictures with 4k storm since it downloads the images with picture ID (you will see the advantage in the steps below).
    2. Scrape image with Followliker of Account I want to copy and export all the urls.
    3. Import the Urls to Imristo's picture manager and export picture IDs and Captions. (google, can't post links yet)
    4. Formate .csv to be imported to Followliker.
    5. Change Hash of Pictures with Imristo's Hash manager

Problems I encountered with that Method:

    1. Imristos Picture Manager is leaving out Pictures from Time to time = More Work to sort out the left out Pictures with no Caption
    2. Still very Time consuming (But copying a complete Account with around 1000 pictures takes only about 2 hours now instead of a whole day)

So maybe somebody has a better solution which completely automates the process or can create a little program which outputs a .csv which is directly readable by Followliker.

Why do you need to change the hash of the pictures? I've haven't had any issues scraping photos and reusing them.

If only there was a easier way to extract the captions.. anyways thanks for your method though!

I did what you outlined but got stuck on 4. Formate .csv to be imported to Followliker.

Followliker only puts one line with weird symbols.

I imported the photos into one file and put it into followliker as selected file and imported
    the CSV file into followliker.

Here's an example of the formatting. Tried multiple different ways: https://Jashy.tinytake.com/sf/NTk5NDI5XzI5OTQxODE

Where does FL save the captions?

I'm scraping a user's photos + captions in FL, but only see the Photos in Documents > Follow Liker > Saved Images > User_AccountXXX

Nevermind, found them - its quite useless for what I need. FL saves everything, every comment from every user on a photo. I don't know how this is useful to somebody.

How are you guys scraping only the photo caption?

Ah ok, got a handle on this workflow.

    1. Scrape Photos from FL
    2. Export the scraped photos
    3. Open the CSV in Excel and delete the first 2 rows, save as TXT
    4. Import the TXT into imRisto's IG Picture Manager which scrapes every caption, and export
    5. Open in Excel, cleanup captions, delete columns, add {, }, |, go nuts.
    6. Voila, instant caption SpinText with a few hours of work.

*7. Considering routing some of the captions through an AI*

The accounts I'm going after have about 1K to 4K posts. As long as the bulk gets processed, I'm not too concerned with missing a few

well, problem is, if scraper skips couple captions, picture-caption order will be ruined. which makes this whole operation kinda pointless. considering captions are picture related, ofc

This is gold. I love it. :) 2-3 hours of work and I have more than enough SpinText for one of my niches.

How do you export the scraped photos? All the photos go into a file when I do it, I also clicked the save to disk option.

I am still confused why you need to follow all this process.
Is it because Followliker does not properly download captions ????

With the Crawl feature you get Photos plus captions in Followliker in a CSV.
The only problem is that it only scrapes half the caption.
If anyone managed to scrape the full caption this whole process is not needed.

    What am i missing????
