[Instagram] List of Free Hashtag Research Tool to increase your exposure

This is a list of free tools that I found and used for hashtag research on Instagram. Hope it will bring value to you

If you are interested in a complete hashtag researching guide, let me know, I will write one when I have some free time.

I'm not affiliated with any of the sites below.

Autogramtags
- Simple interface
- Can use to search for similar hashtags or top posts for certain keywords (influencer mode)
- Return 30 hashtags on any keywords, no restrictions, you can search as many as you want

Hashtagify
- An advanced research tool
- Only free for general hashtag research, if you choose Twitter or Instagram you will have to pay
- Show popularity, trend, influencers, related hashtags, top countries and couple of other cool things
- It's like Google Trend but for hashtags

Display Purposes
- Has a short guide on how to use hashtags on IG
- You can choose the number of hashtags returned
- You can choose which hashtag to copy and click copy mode to copy all that you selected
- Show relevance and popularity

Ricetag
- This tool will give you a list of hashtags that you should and shouldn't use
- It also comes with a tree graph so you can know which hashtags relate to what
- Use for both Twitter and Instagram
- Has a chrome extension
- Recommend hashtags based on pictures (So cool)

All Hashtag
- It will generate a ton of relate hashtags (100+)
- You can generate or analyze hashtags
- It got a list of top hashtags in each category, save you some time.

Instagram itself
- You can do your hashtag research directly on Instagram App, don't forget about this. Although the top posts are now individualized, you can still get some idea of what hashtags to use by looking at the top posts engagement.

If the posts are of the same theme, which is better, find about 10 optimal hashtags or vary in each post?

I would pick a set of around 30 hashtags and rotate them between posts.

Great share mate. A short bullet point description always helps, nice one.

In my opinion, these tools are good if you want simple hashtags. The problem is to find the best performant hashtag in your niche.

Anyway, thank you for your guide, people need to start to use hashtags.
