    This method is for you, if you don't want to purchase 100 different domains for your Instagram + PPI stuff.

    POSITIVE: Safe money & time!

    NEGATIVE: ~20% less conversions! (tested)

    In other words, this is perfect for you, if you have little money, but still want to start scaling your accounts.

    METHOD:

    1. Go create a tumblr account

    2. Like a few posts & follow users, to make sure your account looks legit

    3. Create a new blog with you're desired domain.tumblr.com

    4. Go to the appearance settings of your new blog & click on edit HTML

    5. Paste the redirect code below into the header & DO NOT delete anything.

    6. Safe it & try it to make sure everything is working fine.

    7. Go the blog settings again & enable PASSWORD PROTECTION.

    8. Choose a simple password like "123" "111" & save it.

    9. Paste the URL into your Instagram account & mention the password under your CTA.

    FINISHED!

    I personally tested this over a longer period of time & never experienced a ban due to DOMAINS as this totally blocks everything from accessing your site except user who can read, which is what you want.

    You can also change your domain whenever you want, so when Instagram blocks your domain or gives people a warning before accessing, you can simply bypass that.

    I stopped Instagram + PPI a few weeks ago due to being bored & moral stuff, however I find this is an extremely useful thing as it solves the whole domain problem & wonder why it has never been shared.

    CODE:

    Paste it into the header of each tumblr blog you create!

    Code:
    <script>

      //redirect to your destination email, which can be your LP
      window.location.replace('http://YOURDOMAIN.com' + window.location.pathname);

    </script>

    Thank you very much & good luck!

    Are you sure that this works? In my experience Instagram follows a redirect and can still detect your domain.

    Nice share crivey. I think this will work. Also gives you the idea how to try different ways to tackle ig crawlers.

    This works, because the link is password protected & unlike a human being a crawler can't access it, at least not now & for the next years.

    If it works for IG, then it might work for FB as well - just a guess though since most probably their crawlers' implementation is similar. Nice share!

    Guys, since when are crawlers intelligent? Do you think they recognize a tumblr password protected site & then search everything for a password to gain access? No, they don't do that and never will. This trick prevents ANY crawler from any big website in the world from accessing your destination link, unless they manually review your site.

    First of all, "intelligence" is not a set-in-stone concept, so it would be stupid to say in absolutes whether crawlers are intelligent or not. It depends and yes, they get better with time. Second, no one said crawlers can bypass password-protected sites, so your post is irrelevant.

    Clearly not irrelevant as my explanation which is not based on your statements was a direct answer to your theory that this could bypass crawlers from other big social networks.

    But anyway, both of us are right in our ways :)

    My theory was based on the fact that IG & FB are under the same company. Of course crawlers cannot bypass password-protected sites, no one argued against that. However, that doesn't mean that your links or accounts are safe. In the case of FB, you can prevent crawlers from accessing your site and your links/accounts will still get banned - don't know about this method, but with a few other methods you will. When I said it might "work" for FB as well, I meant that your links/accounts might be safe considering that the crawlers might be similar. I didn't mean that FB crawlers are so smart that they can find out the password and enter the site - even if they were (which would require extreme super-computing power), it's a privacy breach anyway.

    I'm currently doing research into pre-landers and creating my own content lockers for 30 accounts. So this is interesting. Couldn't this redirect straight to the affiliate link instead of a landing page?

    Yes, you can redirect straight to the aff link. No need to rip sites and host them yourself, just take the landing page link from your network :)
