Do someone is already using upload/share of full-size portrait/landscape images that available with new a version of client (7.5)?

I've tried with Bluestacks, but this function doesn't work. I've cleaned cache and rebooted, but it didn't helped (maybe I've missed something?). I heard it works well with real devices, not emulators, but I guess in Genymotion it may work.

Also the new version is very laggy with my setup and often discards to home window, so there is no reason to use it for me.

Anyway it's a good news for everyone, since now images will have better presentation and you can use android phone or IOS device to upload photos.

I hope FollowLiker will make an update soon as well :)

All this new change has done is taken away white borders from full sized landscape photos...so nothing has changed. Full Landscape photos have been allowed to upload via 3rd party apps for years.

Sorry for long reply, I was making some kind of research and didn't know the info that will be useful to answer.

I think that new update is better than what you can get with 3rd party apps. Can you get 1080px resolution photos uploaded with 3rd party apps? With new Instagram update you can! I believe that what you can get is 640x640 or similar (not high resolution) square photos with white space across the original image, what is actually also part of the image (!), so you can get almost x2 times lower resolution photos with white borders - do you think that is good enough to watch on all of this modern new devices that can perform good quality images?

I believe this update will also increase your engagement, don't you think?

Btw, since I'm making some kind of research, could anyone help me, please, with additional info?

Does anyone use one of the latest versions of Bluestacks? Have you got new version (>= 7.5) of Instagram working good?
Recently I've found that it is possible to upload full-sized images with 0.10.x version! But I've made some changes with settings and system files, so I don't know really if it works same at everyone's PC from the box (just after installation and without additional manipulations that I've made).

    Need some feedback ;-)

Ive been using instashot when i used borders a few months ago. You could upload high quality and also 1080 videos but since then they have introduced watermarks. I do full square now. Much more detail can be seen and you can often use the same photo twice as it crops half of a full landscape photo for each upload. I post all personal photos so this means i have more material...thus pleasing my 156k followers

It seems that you can post 1080px photos (that means 1080px width or height) only with official Instagram client. The question was about 1080px photo, not video, sorry.

I like the difference :) Now you don't need to manually crop your photos, but it is useful if you want to keep it unique. Anyway you can edit the image, but don't make it square - isn't it great? :)

More good news: I've just discovered that Followliker have an update with that photo share function too! Woohooo! :ridinghor And some other good updates too!
