No problem, glad to help.
Appreciate that update! Having the same issues. I know it's not Jarvee's fault per se but they need to get their shit together quickly.
What type of proxies are you using?
Agreed, the tools work perfectly but the workarounds we have to put in place and the hoops we have to jump through these days are ridiculous.
Combo of bought proxies from a provider, (Instantproxies) I'm assuming they are datacenter proxies but they are from my local area, also managed to find a VPS provider locally that really doesn't mind us creating proxies off their VPS so we have a few created proxies, then we have 5 home built 4g proxies as well. I used to solely use Instantproxies as a provider as they have excellent service and so far no complaints from me. However after this all started, I started looking into everything else as well. Stopped being lazy basically and started creating proxies and getting them from other sources. Proxies to me are part of the problem, though not the entire problem here. IMO they are cross-checking the proxies IP and created/used-in IP, as well as a slew of other checks.
Update from my end:
My main revenue source comes from comments, so the initial follow ban didn't upset things too greatly, however, the comment ban came along after which has hit me sideways in terms of business. As per the usual instructions, I rested all my accounts for about a month. After starting to test some actions again I noticed that all actions were working in the app and manually through the embedded browser. I then changed all my proxies and reset device ids and have tried to slowly start commenting again. A few comments have gone through, but 2-3 per day is not enough for a fix.
There are 3 issues apparent now with my comment blocks:
1: The comment is not being allowed because Jarvee is recognising it as "Offensive - classified as bully, sexual, etc" and so it isn't letting it leave the comment. This, apparently is a new feature in the Jarvee update to stop spam comments compromising the accounts, however, I am able to leave the exact same comment, which is not offensive, manually through the EB. Leads me to believe there is a glitch in Jarvees new update.
2: The comment is still being blocked by IG through the API. Even though Jarvee got me to check the "use embedded browser for all actions" - it is still getting blocked. When I do it manually through the EB, it works just fine. Another reason it seems the problem lies within the Jarvee.
3: "Search in progress" - the comment tool is running and the "i"is blue, but nothing is being performed due to a "search in progress". This happened before and I loosened my source settings, but there are millions of potential target accounts in my sources, so it must be another issue within Jarvee.
Even after over a month of the follow tool being switched off, I cannot follow through Jarvee, but I can through the App and EB.
Jarvees support is ok - they are a bit slower at the minute for obvious reasons, but I still think Jarvee needs to address these issues, which, for me, lie within their software and other automation software. If I can still perform actions manually through EB and the App, surely there is some sort of workaround for whatever problem is the issue with Jarvee- I'm still hopeful we will get a fix, albeit, it won't be as lucrative as before.
Apologies for the essay - I just wanted to inform you all and vent a little at this nightmare situation we're living in!
About how many follows can an account do before a block?2000 a month?
I know it's random, but what would you say it's the average for this randomness?
This is important, i am working on a solution.
Dude, have you been reading any of this thread? Nobody knows, it varies for every account, it depends on so many differing factors it would be almost impossible to tell.
Dude, yes i have been reading the threads and i did mention it's random, thats why i asked for AVERAGE.
My average is around 3000 follows/month before a block, not hard to calculate.
I think i have a solution but need to confirm average.
I could do avg 1200f per month before the block
Nor the avg is around 6000.
no I can't confirm because right now is unchecked and I don't remember if it was, I guess it was 'cause otherwise does not make sense Jarvee unfollowing a manual followed user
what are your current settings?
I have found that I am being action blocked anywhere between 1-1000 followers with EB browser running residential proxies. I'm running 12 accounts. Some accounts go for a couple days at 1000 followers per day before action block. Action blocks last for at least 2 days and become lifted. In the meantime, I unfollow 1000-2000 per day. Crawling like this since the bot ban. No banned accounts.
hi my friend，Can you tell me what is EB?
You're saying you can follow up to 1000 followers in a few days and unfollow 1000-2000 at a time? This apparently goes agains what everyone is writing and what my automation company is suggesting. This works still?
I'm confirming I have the same issue....maybe it got fixed in the update yesterday.i won't know for a few days as I have unfollow turned off for everyone.
Can you tell me wich type of proxy are you using ? I'm searching new proxies provider so if you have a good one I'm listening
Why do you use the EB setting. Is this better when following?
it is a prominent alternative since the block wave in june and recently the EB use has been bouncing a suggestion more and more.
However, personally I have to disagree on it as solution, obviously just because of my personal experience. I would say "is just a try".
Basically I've always used EB (+ home ip) and I did it because thinking about my behavior: "I use my browser to follow and not the app as I don't like it so why not set the automation in the same way."
However this didn't prevent the first block and neither the second block in July 1 or 2 a block btw that affect the EB and prevent to follow also from PC browser, but allow IG app fully working.
Moreover according to what Jarvee told me, the EB does not emulate a PC browser but an android/ios browser, which is something that I personally find a no sense as I don't understand why someone should access to IG from his smartphone using the browser instead of the IG app...
I got the same error on 3 of my 4 accounts. I have one account that has been following between 150 and 175 a day. That a account still get the follow block error but some how it still able to follow between 150 and 175 a day. Its like the follow block is temporary. The other accounts get follow blocked immediately and can only follow 1 person a day when I try. I can still follow from the IG app which is weird.
Has anyone asked if we could plug in a chrome based EB? I was wondering why it emulates a mobile browser as well?
