Hey guys, I have a 6 months old account, that I only started using last month (I just let it sit until now). I've been growing VERY slowly (on purpose), going extra safe with Instagress, and am currently in the 1k+ Followers area. 3 days ago, I tried to speed things up a notch, unfollowed too fast, and got a temp unfollow ban (which lasted less than 24 hours). Here's the twist: Until now, I used to be able to get 20 likes within the first 2 minutes of posting a pic, and within an hour I'd be at 60-70 likes. HOWEVER, ever since the temp ban, I can barely cross 20 likes within the first HOUR of posting, and I max out at around 40 or 50. Do you guys think the temp ban messed with how IG values my account? It only happened once and it's pretty old... From your experience, do temp bans automatically mean that your Accounts standing has dropped? Or does IG sometimes go "Oh you naughty rascal!" and let things go back to normal (if it's only once)? Could this be a coincidence? Maybe IG just made a change to their algorithm over the last couple of days, hurting engagement rates? Thanks in advance you beautiful, beautiful people.
