Instagram dm automation

I want to automate sending instagram dms. How do you guys do this?

I already have usernames and messages that should be sent to these users.

Are there any great tools to do just that? Something that is easy to integrate with my existing code so something opensource or something with great api would be great. Tools can be paid - it does not have to be a free solution.

What are the limits and things to look out for when sending messages? Does anyone have any experience with this?

It works good if the person follows you before sending the DM, otherwise, slim chances to get it in the inbox.
