I posted this over in "making money" because there's a bit more traffic there but no luck... so maybe I'll have more luck here... How exactly does IG banning work? I had an account that I built up to a couple thousand followers doing it manually (follow/unfollow) in the fishing niche. I posted pics of fish people caught (not my pics... just pulled from the internet). About a week after making the account, I put a link to my website in the bio, continued my follow/unfollow... and boom.. I was banned almost instantly. So I made a new account... same niche, did the same process exactly... banned again. Was I banned cause of the link and then carrying on following/unfollowing immediately? I thought I may have read somewhere after putting a website in your bio, you should wait a week or so before mass following again. Or was I banned cause I had pics of a bunch of random people without acknowledging them or anything? Anybody figured out the formula here?
