Yesterday one my bog had a ctr of 77% and today 20%. I'm nervous that my adsense will get disabled even though everything I did was whitehat.

Anyone else had this happen before?

Yeah, I don't think one or two days of abnormal CTR is going to raise any flags. I think it's when the outliers start to become more prevalent on a continuous basis.

I get at times up to a 50% ctr. I would only sweat it if you have a month end average that has a high ctr. Either way it means your doin something right!

If it's an odd surge here and there, it's all part of the natural course of sites and clicks in my view, it's when it's consistent is when it may arise interest or investigation to ensure it's nothing irregular. I get surges every so often and don't have any problems with it.

If you are doing everything white hat, then you have nothing to worry about even if the click through is 100%.

I know you see and hear a lot of folks on BHW talk about how they lost their accounts and then you read that they did everything legitimate. BULLSHIT. Google does not ban for no reason. White is good. The only way you will lose an account doing it white hat is if a competitor starts sending bogus clicks to your ads, which you can track this and have an argument to present to google.

Now we sit and wait for the next Shmo to enter this thread and tell me how wrong I am. Oh, did I mention I have had the same adsense account for 5 years, earned money every single month from it since it's inception and have never even been warned about anything because I only use white hat methods with that account?

    Go ahead, I dare ya.

Need to be extra careful with doing this too. You account can be banned for too many impressions and no clicks. I may be wrong, but adwords campaigns can be stopped by google if the ctr is not .5% or above. This may have changed since I looked at it a few years ago.

Sending fake impressions can result in advertisers losing ads which = ban hammer for you.

My ctr is about 1% (not blog)...darn...I'm doing it the wrong way.

Btw, I once received an email from Google claiming that we have many invalid clicks. I send them my site.log and said that we have competitors screwing with us on these 2 IPs.

Went out safe but they did some adjustment on a month's payment.

My adsense CTR got increased from 1% to 25% on its own. However before I was earning about 0.20$-2$ per click a now I earn 0.01$-0.04$ per click so I basically earn less did you notice the same thing facebookdude?

Just use Stumble Upon, you will see that your CTR will decrease dramatically.

Higher CTR causes bad effect to your site.
    20% CTR is good.
