Inner page linking for keyword rather than EMD, go with it or let time sort it out?

I have a EMD ecommerce website. My main keyword which is 60k exacts per month is ranking #10 in Google. But it's an inner page. I have an ecommerce site with some really good content, and a few big sites linked to my content rather than the storefront. Over time you'd think my EMR url will rank for the keyword but being somewhat new, the inner page is getting some really good links.

What would your opinion be, should I try and focus on ranking that inner page to the top? Or keep focusing on the main URL and let it sort itself out over time? Seems most sites would rank to the content then the store front though.
This is a mostly white hat site.
