It differs based on the type of SEO or service they want.

For pick and pay, it's basically URL and Keywords,
other type of SEO project can go indepth involving
analyzing the site, ranking, if any link has been built before
    e.t.c

Wow, that's a lot of information you're getting. What do you use street address, city/town information and postcode for? Do you send a gift or a file straight to your clients address?

Well, what would you do, if the buyer charge-back after 2 months? IMO, it's necessary to get all the information from the buyer.

Along with the information above, I usually ask my clients to provide me with their current SEO budget as well as their desired time frame which they would like to see first page results. After I take that into consideration I usually do keyword/competition research to ensure that I can build an effective plan of attack for their specific budget and time frame. Of course the ranking time frames and positions are really dependent on the ongoing performance of the campaign as well as budget.

It varies. The goal is always understanding the business i.e. understanding the problem your client's business solves. After you know this, keyword research and basically everything else is easier.

Also, if it's an offline business, knowing the top3 competitors is always valuable.

What kind of questions do you ask to target your clients problems? Is it questions like "do you have problems with x" ? and do you call them up or just send them to a contact us form to collect these info?

It is a bit different if your selling some sort of link service vs full fledge monthly seo. if its the latter you better have a good talk with your client to see what they expect from you so there is no mis communication.

It works pretty simple (Scrapebox Proxy Harvester custom checker) . You add the URL against which to check the proxy, and on the second line add the text that will appear on the resulting page ONLY when the proxy is working okay.

That's it. As for a login procedure, you will need something a bit more advanced/custom.

    Wrong thread?

I ask my potential clients for...

    1. Full name
    2. Website
    3. Email Address
    4. Phone number
    5. Budget

Pretty similar to above posts however I prefer to call to engage with the potential client early hence I research the keyword data myself and compile a list with relevancy/search volume to their niche. It's completely fine if they have their own keyword ideas, it's all about getting the ball rolling and staying in communication before they look elsewhere.

    Definitely, the wrong thread there.

Cool stuff. After you get the ball rolling, what do you do to close the deal?
