The .com is gone but for for a travel related niche site, which would you prefer or do you think there's no difference in the eyes of g00g?
LMAO, just noticed Imissed the .net is still open. I can't change the poll but I would assume everyone would say .net is the best after .com?

I don't like the .info ones, so I would go with the .org

.ORG's if used properly are a killer (been there, done that), especially if it is an exact match domain name!

Definitely and without a doubt .org, it has more weight in the eyes of G.

Ranking a .org is muuuuch easier than ranking a .info in my experience.

Of course org>info, but the OP also suggest .net. I am curious which one is better .net or .org. I think the seo value is the same for both.

Yeah, .net is still there. But the more I get into niche sites and doing keyword research, the more .org keeps popping up so any opinions would be appreciated.

As I said previously .ORG's are very powerful, especially for MNS's so if you're doing that I highly recommend registering those too.

Since .NET is available why don't you register both of them? You save yourself from unwanted competition :)

Exactly.... 10 bucks is a small price to pay for domain insurance.

prefer .org domains, I think they are more trusted too.

That's what I'm going to do but I guess my next question would be, which one would you prefer for seo and ranking, .net or .org?

I would say buy the .net and .org build 2 sites and dominate the first spots at google
