Hi guys, I have a question about seo hosting:

Let's say I have 10 domains on 10 different ip addresses (on the same seo hosting service) ...
I can (if I want) replace the 10 primary domains with other 10 different names keeping unchanged the contents of the 10 sites?

in practice I can replace only the name of the domain with another domain name without losing the contents of the site?

    Thanks

To answer your question: you could point 1 billion domain names to any IP address, what the server returns is a completely different matter. The only time you lose the content is if you delete the content. Then again it depends on the control panel is provided with your hosting. If you remove or change a domain name the control panel software depending on how it is written, could delete the content. So do a backup before you make any changes. DO NOT rely on the control panel software to actually do a backup. You'll need to do a manual on yourself to be on the safe side.

If you are trying to keep the link juice, then you'll need to do either a 301 or a 302 redirect (one is a permanent redirect, and the other is a temporary one - can't remember which one is which, off the top of my head, at the moment).
