Okay, so I came to the conclusion that I am going to create a YouTube video promoting a Clickbank product and in the description , I will have a cloaked .info link which would that point to the product's squeeze page. However, I have been recommended to instead, create an opt-in landing page when they first click my link in the description box, and THEN they will be directed to the product's squeeze page. What I'm wondering though, is it okay to use a .info for such a thing instead of a .com?

I personally avoid clicking anything .info unless I know it (like saltydroid) and I avoid registering anything .info as afilias is the worst registry operator and .info's infrastructure (root servers particularly) are overburdened poorly-administrated garbage. The only reason .org doesn't suck as bad under their regime is they inherited network solutions' infrastructure with it.

So it would be better for me to use a .com as a landing page to re-direct to my affiliate link after opt-in anyway to avoid looking suspicious?

If you are going to put in all the effort to make a nice landing page why would you want to look like you are too cheap to pay for a $10 .com People only throw money at really rich and really poor people. Try to stay out of the middle when selling.
