    - 301 redirect your website to google.com.
    - Wait for PR update
    - Stop the redirect

You'll have pr10 website until the next PR update.

It used to be a 301 redirect to: http://www.ahrq.gov

You can see that all the redirects are still indexed in Google:

    Code:
    site:afroamericanartists.com

The links that were supporting that PR were simply removed since the last update. In the next update those sites PR will crash.

I was going to type the same thing.

There was a thread about this same thing where-in a 1 month old site had PR9 with less than 10 backlinks.

Apparently, it used to 301 redirect to a high PR domain.

ok so I take my site (PR0)

I do a redirect to a page with pr8 (for ex.)

in the next PR update my page rank is 8 right?

of course if i don't build backlinks in the next PR update my pr back to 0 right?

I ask this because the two examples of sites that I have done in the thread are part of a blog network with high pr...most sites that make up this network have these "features"

How do they make remain stable pr acquired over time?

(sorry for my bad english :D)

    Thanks

301 redirect to high PR site, on next update they will lose their PR.

How do they create a network with these "high pr sites" then if the PR back to 0? If the pr back to 0 the backlink also lose importance and the sites gets downgraded ...

301 redirect doesn't gets you banned. Its not considered to be a duplicate copy - think of it as alias for main domain.

Its not meant to create high PR domain. Once the redirect is removed Google downgrades the domain immediately, but the information about the downgrade becomes public only about 3 months later (during PR update).

People do that for other purposes, such as getting higher price for advertisement, selling the domain for better price, etc. Everything is aimed at noobs, who dont do their homework properly and pay extra money for fake PR.

ok and if I create lats say 10 websites with this "fake" PR and I upload articles there with links to my money site, douring the mounth when the PR will be high, my money site will rank higher in google for my keyword or not?
I mean how this will affect my money site position in google for my keyword if I make bunch of backlinks on the "fake PR" sites to my money site?

    you have centered the point!

In practice is the same question that I do....
When I started this thread I did the example of two sites that have used this technique...the two sites that I have written are just 2 examples of backlink that has a site in very competitive niche "online business" (#1rank in google)

so at this point I think two things:

1)or those who use this technique knows a way to remain stable over time acquired pr

2)or create 30/40 sites (pr3 to 6 for example) every 4/5 months with this technique (the time that google reduces pr)...

    What do you think?

PR takes forever to change especially with page rank and redirects and it seems everytime you do a redirect it get's less powerful

This is done purely to spoof PR, the domain NEVER actually has this PR.

The pr you can check (eg toolbar pr) is only updated every so often.
Actual pr as used by google is updated all the time.

As soon as you remove the redirect, the pr is gone, so no backlinking benefits what so ever.

The only reason a blog network would do this is:
    1. they are trying to pull a fast one and get sales before anyone notices/
    2. they got scammed themselves, and bought these domains thinking they were actually high pr.

ok If what you say is true then how does the website 101waystomakemoney [dot] com to be in position 1 for keyword "make money online"?

the 80% of backlinks that has from pr2 to pr8 are created with the redirect...
