Hey guys,

So I am thinking about this in terms of which of them is best for you, in your EXPERIENCE.

Please consider cost/profit, stressful/less stressful, targetting/actual reach, and % of average SALES you made at each instance of any or both of these two comparable marketing strategies:

Influencer marketing vs Traditional marketing... especially for software products.

I used to pay influencer with 350 thousand followers ,but only got one click

Thats why you always ask these people for their engagement stats before you buy a shoutout. There are enough wackos out there that buy their followers to rip people for shoutouts off.

For me it depends on the product and the budget I've set.Influncers are a good way to reach out to potentially huge audience for a much cheaper cpv and know if the product attracts attention. Also if you have a pixel on your site you can retarget the visitors for cheaper if you start with ads.Personally I like paid ads as I get much better targetting parameters.

Edit:
As for your question regarding with results for the two,
I've had a 2hr shoutout for 20$ and made 180$ in sales but that's the best I've had.The time you'll spend on researching the good pages can be spend on researching a target audience set. Paid Ads have been a lot more consistent for me.

In all honesty adding influencer marketing to your over all strategy makes little to no sense these days. If you are using it for top of the funnel, awareness, exposure then sure why not. I would not invest heavily in it though but run it side by side to compare. Paid acquisition is the way, take your time, curate rich content and build your narrative...
