I am signing up for distrokid to start Spotify streaming. And looking at the packages.

$23 for 1 artist versus

$40 for unlimited.

So this is a conundrum. If you pay one at a time, if one of your artists is tagged as streaming fraud the rest can remain “safe” for the moment. But the costs are higher

Having unlimited….. if one artist is deemed to have fraud streams are all artists taken down? Shadow banned?

For 30 artists that’s $700 for 1 year

for unlimited $40.

For the people who already do this did you pay 1 artists at a time? Or go unlimited. If you had an artist shadow banned or taken down did it effect your other artists?

For those who buy individual did it provide more security? Stability?

I have heard distrokid is one of the worst for stream farms etc. If you're going to do it you would want to have each artist on their own account with nothing connecting them together

I heard they were the best at getting your music up quickly. And the fastest to pay you. But their customer support is nonexistent and you cannot downgrade accounts.

Still it fits my purpose. With other labels I think you need to he an actual verified artist, no?
