I've been looking over indiegogo campaigns the past couple weeks, and It's inspired me to create a campaign for my brother, a wounded Marine who needs help getting his Battle Buddy (A PTSD service dog).

I've already created my draft for the campaign and revised it a bunch. When I started internet marketing I mainly focused on blackhat techniques with a numbers game, by getting my adcopy sent out as much as possible.. but the methods & techniques I use wouldn't work for this type of campaign.

I know that within the BHW community we have successful IM entrepreneurs and that with a shred of their help, this campaign would be 300x more likely to succeed. so I would like to ask for any tips, insight, and help this community is willing to share on how I can get my campaign out there and share it with as many people as possible.

    thanks @seniorempire

I've went ahead and launched the campaign.

so far I have 'liked' it via indiegogo's share app.. I've created my own facebook event and linked that to and from the campaign as well, and then invited everyone from my personal fb account. I've also shared it on a less successful social site to about 1300 people in total from my friends list.

I've gathered a list of military forums, blogs, and military facebook pages.. but, not to spam on. I'm going to attempt to reach out to the owners and ask if they could help in spreading the word out there, together with me via facebook, twitter, and other social sites. I'm thinking the key is to get it all out there.. not asking everyone for a donation.

If anyone else has any advice or tips on how to make my campaign better, please don't hold back.. even if it's to say something is stupid, so I can fix any error I may have made.

If anyone is interested in looking it over, you can post here or PM me and i'll give you a link.

Well I can tell you FROM Expierence that promoting this type of campaings is HARD... I'm running one campaing myself for my girlfriend and let me tell you.. NOBODY GIVES A SHIT.. I talked with big fan page owners, owners of news sites, people which have lots of subs on you tube to make a video about it... I even provided them with an atricle about the health problem my girlfriend has and nobody... I mean NOBODY even cares about this ;/;/ I wish you luck with your campaign.

I think really.. it's just finding the people that do give a shit about whatever cause you're promoting and getting it flooded out there.

well.. I still haven't had any luck on reaching any fb page owners. messaged about 30 or so. I've got over 70 fb shares though, and I've added tweets to be sent out on YLH.. and was looking at some other sites like addmefast.. but I can't even get that site to load. I guess it's server is overloaded because of a bot that released.. and not able to find any other ones that are worth anything.

so far we've got 6 contributers and half of them I don't know.. i've been trying to get everyone to share it all over the place. so most likely from someone they reached, and not someone just browsing the site.

a few of the fb page owners responded, and I purchased a fiverr gig (fiverr didn't do shit). but from everything else we've got a little over $1,000 in 7 days.

not to bad, not to good.

7 days left.. and we are working on stage 2 of the campaign since i've gotten some experience, more resources, and more ideas during this one.
