[INDIANS] Kapil Sibal's unreasonable demand for censorship!

So Kapil Sibal has said that the govt will have to screen content on social media sites. They'll use humans to screen the content.

Maybe he doesn't know that over 250 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube each minute, and over 10,000 pictures to Facebook each minute.

The telecom minister said the Internet giants did not come up with a solution though he had lodged complaints with them three months ago over "unacceptable" images (of "Her highness madam Sonia Gandhi ji").

Looks like someone didn't tell him that Sharad Pawar was recently slapped for being an idiot!

These corrupted douches will never understand what people want they are just here to make themselves money and the launch of that tablet was just a show off and that idiot pawar is the most corrupted politician in indian history he needs chapsticks everyday.
 
How many people would it take to actually go though 360,000(250*1440) hours of content every day? Working the max hours by law in India?

I'm not from India but just wondering the scale of a government program to censor the internet,just from using one site as an example.
 
Don't think anything is going to happen as these sycophants need to keep making such noises to keep themselves noticed in the eyes of the High command.

man this is crazy , this action will reflect in our account . abt 2 to 3 months back Pak ministry had an issue with the google and it got instantly reflected in the Pak IM'rs adsense account most of them got there adsense account disable. These politicians don't know value of hard work and hard earned money they are simply after poor while the big shots are earning . You could see the paypal policy in India .

Why did google ban pakistan accounts,instead of telling pakistan govt to fuck off,and teaching people there to get around the government censorship?

Logistically, this cannot happen. Internet censorship like this is also a direct violation of freedom of speech that is guaranteed for every Indian. Having said that, it must also be understood that abusing, disparaging (or slapping!!!), etc are also in violation of the individual rights of the people who are in the receiving end. We have all the right to publicize our opinions but we must also ensure that it is done in the right way.

They don't need to go through all those hours of posts, videos etc.

They'll just do what China does.

India needs to leave it's embrace of China and look to the West who are distancing themselves fast from Pakistan

lol it is impossible to censor that much content..even youtube can't detect the nature of content that soon, then how the hell humans will do :D looks he doesn't know much about internet usages these days :D
