Indian Xoom Recipients can't pickup cash now

    There is one more bad news from Xoom after they stopped accepting Paypal account for money transfers to India.

    They have announced that cash pickup and home delivery service have been discountinued for Indian recipients.

    They have mentioned that they have taken this step to focus on bank deposit option. But I think they have taken this step forced by RBI rules because RBI has no record for money picked up via cash pickup option.

    People...go find an accountant. Income tax authority won't let you go away without paying tax ;)

    It includes one GOOD NEWS too.

    All transfer exceeding $1000 will be "Fee free". It means xoom will not charge any fees for such transactions.
