Indian followers are like the plague!

Not all of them, but a good chunk are just spammers and mass followers, they are not leads, they do not engage!

I've recently started a Portuguese business that is nowhere related with Indians, and I'm just getting hundreds of these, and they keep coming even tough I'm removing them!!!!

Getting tired of Instagram, TikTok doesn't have them, fortunately.

A lot of members here are Indian so I'm not sure how they feel called Plague... Depending on what niches that page is in, this is inevitable as they are 1+ billion and with internet access However, if you want to get more of your target audience, you can filter and avoid these followers by having some content that they won't like or engage.

I've done this and my Indian percent dropped by 5% on a large page by focusing on content North American or European audiences would relate to more. Indian audience do engage on some topics and can be good for engagement on some niches, I did convert Indian traffic on digital products but it has to be the right niche etc... I like to have some subs in my email lists because some reply to every email and really engage so it really helps with deliverability

India is a country where the "customer always come first' rarely if ever exists in their business code of ethics

And a lot of guys are operating from a 'survival' standpoint with limited knowledge as they can't understand fluent english to understand the structures of business entered for a while. Much less the wisdom of 'customer is always right'

I get it though. Hard to tell someone who's making a few hundred a month, working 10 hour days, to not take advantage of people wasting their money... and make $2k a month.....especially when the foolish would have likely wasted it elsewhere anyway.

If you buy the services of most low end guys, this is just the bare reality.

You can expect problems down the line.........

collect them and retarget. They could still prove valuable.

I use them to boost the membership numbers on my Telegram groups.. For my other businesses not targeted to them..

Been thinking of doing the same as it's not my target audience, but could boost numbers as there are no limits or deliverability issues on telegram
