Do you guys try to ping /index the blasts ?

I have seen people telling it will make site ban ... I dont believe that otherwise I can blast a competitor and ping them and he would have been gone .

Whats you opinion .

You dont blast links to your site. You blast the web 2.0s and Social bookmarks that are pointing to your MS.
