So I found out my site had a meta noindex no follow tag on the homepage. I got it removed a week ago and re-submitted the sitemap and got the site re-crawled through Google WMT. For some reason, only 6 pages have been indexed so far and they are all "About Us" "Contact Us" "Blog" pages. None of the actual category/service pages. However, the homepage has been indexed. Whats up with that? Why aren't all the pages being indexed? It used to be that over 50+ pages were indexed and now its dropped to 6??!

    Any thoughts?

    Zee,

This may be a dumb question but are you sure the directories are not being blocked from crawl by robots.txt? If they aren't, it could just be that Google is taking a while to index them. I have seen sites take a while before. And have you also checked for the meta tag on those other pages? Unless of course you are using a template.

Maybe you can find an answer here,

    Hope that helps,
