I have read that its good to index (using speed-links) only home page and not all pages for new website? Why is that so, can I index all pages (10k) inside the website?

How the hell do you have 10k pages on a new website?
Are these auto-generated pages? User-generated content? Or what?

Start with homepage and see how it goes.
Paid indexers doesn't always work as they say.

By the way, there's no need of using speedlink if it's your main site. You can use GSC for index naturally.

Recently there was a delay in GSC indexing. If it's there use speed links.

Wow, that's a huge no of pages for a new site. You can create a sitemap and submit it to Google Search Console.

Thank you. Yes, there are lots of auto-generated pages. It is dictionary based website.

Try for every single page including the pages that contain your contact details. More the merrier.

Then it should be perfectly fine to index them all. But I wouldn't recommend using an indexer service. Just add your site in Search Console, submit the sitemap and let Google do its natural flow. Trust me it's better than forcing things unnecessary.

index all pages is always good. I don't understand the meaning of only indexing home page

Because if the homepage is found; all pages are few clicks away, no technical issues or anything, then all pages will get crawled through the homepage.

If you have to go and force index every single page on your site because otherwise they do not, then there is something seriously wrong with your site.

You don't have to force index anything . you just have to submit your sitemap sir :)

Based on your answer to OP you imply to use indexing services for all pages not just the homepage.

Sure, sitemap is needed for massive sites, but the point of having a well made site for crawling and indexing remains.

naah i don't use indexing tools for my own website .. thats just an absurd thing to do.. When you have google that can do that for you. Even a guy starting with SEO knows google has sitemap feature if used properly can index all your pages easily.

I have submitted to sitemap to GSC and it shows all pages are found. It’s been a month now and I can find only 5 pages in Google search and lots of sitemap pages. So it can take few weeks/months more to show all the pages in Google right?

Check your sitemap if it features all your pages. It can be possible that your sitemap don't have all the pages.
Also check if your sitemap is dynamic, does it updates automatically when you publish something new in your website.
also check in google like this

site:yourwebsite.com

Does it take a while for google to index the pages on your site map? I've had mine submitted for about a week and its still only showing queries for my brand

Use google search console to index the homepage and all other pages. It's not good to force index all pages.

You go against yourself there :)

Also, it's just not real or practical to use search console (inspection tool) to index 10k pages by hand.

OP should just work on site structure, speed and having a sitemap. That should be enough to solve all the indexing problems sooner or later.
