    Hi BHWs,

Did you hear the latest SAPE news? 71% of the Online Stores in Russian's TOP 200 Use SAPE!

Sape's official blog has posted an article a few days ago, informing that the reputable website kommersant.ru has conducted a survey among the most successful and popular online stores in Russia that have been ranked in the first 200 results in Google.

It turns out that 71% of them are using links purchased by the SAPE.RU network in their link building campaigns. This practically means that every 7 out of 10 e-commerce websites in Russia owe their high SERP rankings to the SAPE links. Another interesting fact is that the total number of links they have purchased on the SAPE link exchange network equals tens of millions per year.

Let me remind you about the current stats of SAPE.RU:

    • 520 323 registered users
    • 673 870 registered websites
    • 575 329 971 pages participating in the SAPE network

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

There was an investigation by one of the Russian bloggers into the promotion tactics used by Russian politicians/media stars.

Most of them use service provided by ex media star Tina Kandelaki. The later takes millions for promotion and uses social exchanges, similar to addmefast to promote their twitter accounts, youtube videos, etc. Its a wild wild west in Russia now, people pay millions for basic black hat services.

That's amazing considering the numerous concerns people had when the rankings of their websites went down. Many of them suspected the reason is because of these SAPE links. However, they are not really sure yet and it's not proven but many of them are convinced it's because of these links their websites' ranks downgraded.

Info seems correct - but how the fuck do you get away with just "Here is a post promoting my network" here on BHW.
I've seen people banned for posts less self promotional than this.

I'm starting to wonder this as well. I've seen OP in a lot of other threads, mainly sape threads, discussing how awesome sape is. Most of the time discussing how its best to use a reseller. Blatenly advertising there services IMO.

Edit: If you through a lot of his posts, he also mainly posts links to his own sites selling his Sape services.

You guys are unbelievable. Believe me, if OP owned Sape.ru, he wouldn't need to spam bhw with a thread. He can buy probably all the ad spots here with what he makes in a few hours.

Who said he owns Sape.ru? Look at this location and look over his other threads.

    Yeah seems like a reseller.
I've nothing against SAPE - I even like the idea you pay by the month. No need to "disavow" just stop paying - if you are medium to high end SEO - seems a fair deal to me.
But this and many other threads by thius guy are so blatently just self promotional offering nothing other than "Here's my service - see how good it is" and including links in most of them!!.

I've seen users on BHW get bans for much less than this - and for first time offences - HTF is he getting away with this?

Now I know that a lot of people in this forum do not make money at all and do not know crap about SEO.
The first 200? Seriously, the first 10 is the only thing that matters. If you are at page 5, which is where the penalty starts, you are not going to get any traffic from any keyword.
Even the 11-20 results hardly get any traffic.

You guys should be asking what keyword is this guy talking about too.

The most important point is that Yandex is the top search engine in Russia. If your a Russian speaker and use Yandex you will know that the SERP results on Yandex are not nearly as good as on Google, far more spam ranks on the first couple of pages. So the fact that 71% of online Russian stores use SAPE doesn't necessarily mean that this will transfer across to Google. If you looked at the top 200 e-commerce sites in the UK for instance that percentage would be radically lower.
