I have noticed Google indexing my site a lot more recently, downloading a lot more Kb of data daily, but no increase in my SERPs yet. Has this happened to anyone else? Can I expect to get moved up in the SERPs soon? :p

I think you are mistaking indexing with crawling. When google is more oftenly now visiting and spidering your pages and download more kbs, thats crawling

As to if that leads to boost in SERPs, it can be yes and no.. it all depends.. what is for sure is that Google knows about your pages and crawls their data regularly, so if you have proper SEO and good content that could lead into SERP boosts

Maybe I should have written crawling, but in that case you've made the same mistake in your website name. Anyone else have any experience of this situation?

Wait 72 hours and see it for your self.

One thing for sure is that Google has you in their database and is calculating what kind of rankings you deserve.

indexing is not ranking.SERP is affected by many factors like backlinks, content, authority, etc.

Indexing and ranking is two different things. It's good if Google index your content faster but it wont make your site rank better in of it self.
Keep building links :)

No movement yet for me. Oh well I guess I'll keep on doing what I was doing for a while longer. I'm sure Google has blacklisted my site or something. I'm in the top 5 in Bing and Yahoo and #50 in Google!

As everyone above says, don't mix up between crawling and ranking.

Google has been crawling your site more often, its good in terms of your site updates will be indexed faster.

This has nothing to do with ranking. Both are completely different IMO.

It is a good thing, though nothing to do with serps. However, if you have a large site, and more pages are indexed, then you might get visitors for low competition keywords that may rank without any seo.
