    ok so i have a perl script thats very simple..

    run it and it gives you hits to the URL you supply..if i pop in my myspace URL it shoots up my myspace views in seconds...

    now i tried it on my youtube video link but am not sure its working...i know from one IP you can get 200ish views..

    But how fast does the play count refresh?

    Also i want to add a proxy list into the script then i can let it sit all day running on it and do thousands of views a day..

    This is the code i have to add proxy list
    Not sure i understand how this would work, very new to this..

    anyone good with perl, and/or have good proxy list?

    I'll happily put this on here if anyone is interested too..

    Quick code of mine (Haven't tested yet)

    #!/usr/bin/perl
    use LWP::UserAgent;

    my @px = ("http://192.168.3.1:80",
    "http://unblock.info:3128",
    "http://myproxy.com:8000",
    http://www.proxyproxy.com:8080");

    my $ua = LWP::UserAgent->new( );
    my $murl = "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxx";

    for (@px) {
    $ua->proxy('http','$_');
    my $response = $ua->get($murl);
    die $response->status_line . "\n" unless $response->is_success;
    }

    Yes, simply add your proxy into the px list (my @px =)
    And call it using $_

    Cheers.

    The youtube view count will appear almost immediately for roughly the first 150 views of the video. After that, the view count appears to be updated 3-4 times per day. It will only count around 200 views from one IP (not sure if it will count more from that IP after some number of days.)

    Are you really able to get it to count it as a view without loading the player into a browser and having the player request the video? I guess I've been doing it the hard way...

    Are you able to squeeze enough views out of scripts above to end up on the top of most viewed?

    couldn't you just type youtube url in your browser and use a FF addons to reload the page every 5 or 15 min or so, and then use Tor and let it run over night?
    just a thought

    #!usr/bin/perl

    for($x=3;$x<=200;$x++){print "Content-Type: text/htmlnn";

    my $url = "http://www.youtube.com/";

    use LWP::UserAgent;
    use HTTP::Request::Common qw(GET POST);

    my $agent = LWP::UserAgent->new;
    my $req = GET $url, Referer => "(http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search &meta=)";

    print $agent->request($req)->as_string;}

    does this script still work? i use this on my space and works like a charm, but when i try it on youtube, nothing changes. the plays go up by like 1

    I have seen this behavior with some other sites recently as well. I suspect an exploit has been discovered, and patched.

    That kinda scripts doesn't work nowdays so you're just wasting time imho.
    Nothing is better and more effective than symulating real user. Not only go through proxy and switch useragent/referer.
