hey i was wondering of a way i can give a part of my commissions to the ppl using my affiliate link to buy stuff on egay n ama*zon...

but is there a way to track who bought what?? umm it can be big if we track a way to do that... i think they only tell total commissions n sales n thats all....

any thing that u know m missing? suggest some other way to give incentives if u know any :)

You would have to add some sort of unique identifier to your EPN rover url.

    Code:
    http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-XXX-XXX-0/1?type=1&campid=5XXX&toolid=10001&customid=UNIQUEIDENTIFIERHERE

So you would just modify your incentive script to add their membe rname or some identifier that would be tied to their member id in your database. :)
The only problem with ebay is the delayed reporting and the revenue on the action is only 50% of the listing fee.. So the incentives would be minimal to your members.

hxxp://www.bigcrumbs.com is doing something like that - not just for egay but other companies as well.

bear in mind that it's against egays TOS to use incentives unless specifically agreed

True, but at lot of us break tos daily. It's just an upper hand that has it's associated risks of getting canned, but all in all if you are bringing in enough money for a company tends to seem like they want you around.

This is actually a good idea, BigCrumbs has to be crushing it right now. The margins would get slimmer with a lot of competition(you would have to pay out members more to compete), and profits would be entirely dependant on your volume member base but I see this as a great way to possibly earn a shitload in affiliate sales with all the big retail stores. Hopefully one has cleared it with cj, giggleaffiates, etc. or you are in for a fun lawsuit.

You could integrate "bargain" datafeeds with the cj api, and people earn on bargains? Who could say no to that.

i was thinking of going very big on this.... much much much bigger than bigcrumbs.... but will they approve me when it is done? or will i have to do something blackhat to get the accounts?

the whole question is will they approve my site? as i will be giving incentives?.. i dont get this though if i am getting them "sales" why d hell do they care?!!?!? n other question... when i start whats the possiblity that they will not approve me? :( any ways of getting a quick approval? :(

    They care!!

If they think you incentive site is bringing users that would otherwise not have bid then OK it should be approved, if they think users will go via your site purely because of your incentive, but otherwise would have bid anyway, then naturally they won't want to pay 50%+ to you (for no benefit to them).

Why not try applying with your idea and see what happens.
