I've been running a fairly sucessful campaign lately offering an incentive for ppl to fill out surveys. I've been getting people to fill out multi page forms too. So i decided to try and get MORE cash... I found an offer that is for NON-Incentive traffic, that pays $18.00 per lead, but the leads I'm sending them are incentivised! This offer also calls the people who sign up.. so am I being retarded and should shut down that offer asap before my network bans me?? or do you think I will be fine as long as I stay below say $80 a month for that offer (only about 4-5 leads a month not too bad right?)

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED AND I WILL THANK YOU! LOL

At the least, withdrawl any money you have in your account right now if you can. If the payout is at a future date I'd pull the ad.

If someone has already done the offer you've done everything that the CPA or advertiser need to withhold your money and terminate your account. As to if they will find out or not I couldn't say but I'm sure they have it out for publishers who are incentivizing NON-Incentive ads.

aright THNX yea i had a feeling that trying TOO hard would get me in trouble. guess u can't be greedy in this game unless ur being 100% honest and accountable. thnx man!

Uh, last time I checked this was a black hat forum, where things are always gonna be a little on the shady side...

lol yeh just make sure to use dif offers. id never use one that calls the user. i to use non incentive offers for incentive sites. but hey so long as u cover your ass and keep ctr down then all is good lol. well for me so far so good

:cool2: Didn't say that. It didn't sound like this was a throwaway account is all, and I say grab your money first ask questions later.

I wouldn't incent an offer where they call.
It only takes one of them answering the question, "How did you hear about us?" with "Oh, this site said they'd give me a free platypus fur handbag if I filled out the lead!" for you to get kicked off the offer.

That's not a bad thing really, except for the lost money and one other tiny detail: everything you do from that moment forward with that network will be looked at carefully.

It's better to never give them a reason to look. ;)

Here's the deal:

I don't know what $18.00 CPA you're doing but I'm guessing it's probably for education or something similar. I used to work for one of these online schools and I was actually the guy who called people. I can tell you from experience that they only expect like 1% or less to convert. So if done on a very small scale you can get away with this. I did incent some non-incent edu offers for about 6 months back in 2006, but I rotated between about 6 different offers and when possible I'd run the same offer on 2 different networks to spread my earnings. I tried not to make more than 500 on any one offer on any one network and ended up netting a lot during those 6 months. Afterwards, I started a larger incent site and I tried to run ITT technical institute at $15.00 a lead. I made 3,000 in one month and ITT contacted the network and said they weren't paying for any of my leads. However, the network did not terminate me, I just had to stop running ITT.

I guess the lesson here is that greed is evil. You've got to keep in on a small scale and spread out the earnings.

However, you might just want to focus on getting 10X as much traffic, rather than getting offers that pay 10X as much. That way you can have your cake and eat it too. If you're doing cash incent, or something similar, there are a lot of users who will just do every single offer you make available. A plethora of e-mail submits is better than 1 EDU offer imo. That way you can spread your earnings throughout 10-15 networks and even if 1 drops you, you still make good money.

yo thnx for the advice all, i DID keep the non-incent offer on my site anyway lol! havent made any leads tho cuz i'm using their own txt ad (and we all know those don't convert) but yea i get the gist of it. its "bad" but its "ok" if only a few leads get through..

btw the 18.00 per lead is for debt eraser its only a one page form too.. do you think i could get like 5 leads then take it off and get away clean? thats like around $90 bucks quick cuz my site is converting like crazy rt now

just an update: i ended up getting banned from that cpa network :( and lost a $200 check that was coming

only after 2 leads too. guess i learned more about the cpa game. i'm not gonna do shit thats too shady anymore... only 5% shady from now on

Maybe someone can post a list of very good incentive-allowed offers, so we all can make some more mula? ;) Would be very much appreciated.

you can sign up for free at offervault dot com and do a search for the word 'incentive', it will bring up tons of offers on various networks. If you aren't a member of the cpa network that has the most or best offers, they have the name there, join em and run with em....

I know abt. offervault, still a recommendation here would be appreciated - b/w us fellow bh'ers so to speak :)

how can u get banned after only 2 leads? You obviously didnt get banned from those 2 leads alone..
