Incentive Sites

Hi BHW...

I normally don't post here that much (I need to, though, because this forum kicks ass in my opinion), but I have a question that I need opinions on (good and bad)...

I started one of those incentive sites where a person completes x number of offers and refer x number of people to get a reward (incentive, prize, whatever you want to call it)...

However, my incentive site is catered strictly to the adult industry (porn, in layman's terms)...

Does anyone on here have any experience w/ incentive sites whatsoever? Has anyone started a porn incentive site?

I googled "porn incentive sites" and there was one that came up on page 1, but the site has been taken down.

I want to know if this is worth my time. If not, I'll change everything around...I design websites so it should only take about 2-3 days to change things around...

Interesting...Anywayz, when is payment? Net 30? You may want to put your FAQ section in another color. The fonts are rather light.

Also what countries could sign up (international, US and Canada only?)? If it's international you may want to change up your sign up page to include "Country".

Nice page by the way, just make sure you keep checking that you don't have teens signing up for your site esp. if you are located in the US.

Your question isn't stupid, Patox...

I'll be glad to answer it...

From my understanding, incentive traffic is when you offer an incentive or reward to drive people to your site, complete offers, and refer people to the site in order to claim the reward.

In other words, you have to refer x number of people and complete x number of offers in order to claim the prize you choose.

It's pretty good because, in my opinion, it uses the classic "word of mouth" advertising as opposed to more sophisticated and costly forms of advertising, such as Adwords.

This is how I understand it...any other BlackHatters care to comment?

Hello. Incentive traffic is when you offer anything to a person so that they will complete whatever needs to be done for an offer. If you offer the points to sign-up, incentive. If you offer cash, incentive. Etc.

I have extensive experience in incentive marketing, which is essentially 95% of my income.

I would be careful with offering cash. I do not know about the porn affiliates in particular, as I've only ever worked with GGW in that industry, but I know that the quality of sign-ups when cash is offered as a reward is much different than when items such as a TV are offered. You will want to monitor this and possibly see if there are any restrictions on the rewards you can offer (cash).

i think adult affiliate networks allow incentive traffic but not to complete offer i think.correct me if i am wrong

I know for a fact that TopBucks does not allow you to do anything like this. As many posters have said above, make 100% sure you are allowed to do this, because if you are not, you are going to lose a lot of money and piss off a lot of people.

Looking at your site, it seems that you're using the RAFS script as far as I can tell. Be careful because that script can be exploited.

I would cut out the first landing page if I were you. Just make the TOS say 18+, that should suffice.

You may want to look into changing to FSR for your script or even purchasing a custom-built script. If you are using a nulled version of RAFS, you could get someone to build you a custom script using the RAFS backend to cut down on the cost.

Also, make your incentive site more porn themed. Here's an example:

Buy website such as CondomGiveaway.com or something.
Offer people a 36 pack of Tojans for signing up for just one offer.
If you are paid $30 for a BangBug trial signup or something, you purchase the $20 pack of condoms and ship them directly from amazon. You pocket the $10 on top.

You make it easy for people to get their gifts, and it's something they want. Who cares about $20? 36 condoms seems like a wayyyy better freebie.

Take these suggestions and run with them and you will have success.
