I just bought SocialBot from Incansoft. I spent a full week messing around with Bookmarking Demon 5 and just couldn't get it to go. I'm sure it's a great product, just not for me. Hence, SocialBot.

Does anyone use this tool and are they willing to give us newbies ( I don't know, maybe it's just me.) some tips. Any best practices advice on this.

Tips, warnings, any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your time.

do not go crazy with the bookmarking!
That would be the biggest tips, you will see a few bookmarks to your site and they will help and that will make you want to bookmark ten times as much hell it might even help then but a little while later you are going to start dropping your ranks as social bookmarking websites catch on!

    Hi lucabrasi,

I have SocialBot too. I have no problems of using it. The account creation does not work that well for me. So I have to do it manually.
I also use onlywire ( with 36 top social book marking sites) . They have a free version. You might as well check it out.
    Hope that helps.

    Justin

Use proxies. Build bookmarks overtime like geteasy says. Reddit users are click-happy. Don't bookmark stuff like your about page accidentally.

heres some related feedback and question for you guys. hoping to get some help to fix it perhaps but more along the lines of a heads up for you to check yourselves manually so you dont waste time. as i see a bunch of other folks having the same issues i am having this morning , namely false positives for successful subs.

here is the email i just sent to incansoft support

I signed up for all the 'popular' services minus the capture ones so I got 31 total accounts I signed up for and verified the emails.

Then I did a test submission on a url I had.

Of those 31 I got 8 aborted errors which isnt a big deal, but I got 22 sites saying completed, looked really good.

But I went to each site and logged in manually to get my profile url and rss feed to promote as well as to check and make sure the link was there and if it was publicly viewable and **************** or not.

I found only two of the sites had actually posted the submission! one wasnt publicly viewable, had to log in to see it and the other one was on favs which was publicly viewable but nofollow

Whats up with the other 20 sites that said were submitted but there is nothing there? I did some searching online and see that there are a bunch of other people having the same problem.

    Thanks for any help.
