Simple method for new pages to improve your success rate. This is so simple, that I'm kicking myself for not realizing it sooner.
This is not an ultra pro tip, but I thought it might be useful for some of you.

When I was manually commenting on blogs to create backlinks to my page, there were always a lot of blog owners who didn't accept my comments. It made me wonder why, because I wrote decent comments which were related to the article I commented. I was always like "why would someone don't want to publish a non-spamy comment, which contains no keywords or stuff like that?". Makes no sense eh? Quite the opposite, a blog owner gets content for free from my comments. So how can anybody dislike that?
Okay so I finally found out why. There are some people around who, let's call it what it is, are true assholes. They hate the fact, someone else is making money. And that's the reason why they don't accept comments with links to a page which has adds on it. I never had thought someone could be that pathetic, but it's true.
Solution: Don't put any adds on your page and build some comment links first, before you put up the adds. I tested it with three pages of mine and my success rate at commenting improved a lot. Nobody is going to check all the links they already accepted again and again, so chances they will remove your link once you put up adds are tiny.
