Hi,

So I've been here for years on and off. Tried a few things here and there but never stayed committed with what I was doing, Im thinking because I wasn't interested in the topic and I know I have adult ADHD because I can never stay focused on one thing for more than a few days. ( I am working on that now and trying to take things more slowly and really focus ).

So thats why I'm back at it. I KNOW I can make money online easily if I just apply myself, especially If I start off BH. I don't plan on going BH forever, just to get a steady income in monthly, and I'm talking small, just enough to pay for hosting and buying a few domains a month. Maybe $50 -$100 a month from BH, then I'd be doing all WH/GH projects.

Anyway, to why I am writing, since I'm going to be doing BH is it ok not to get a domain with the keywords in it? I know its important to have the keyword in the url but how important since Im doing BH.

Also, can free hosts work too? Like Google sites or other free hosts?

Let me know what you think or throw an idea over here as well, I'm always open to new ideas or thoughts on how to approach this.

Thanks so much in advance, look forwarding to really getting it going this time.

Keywords are important in domain name in my humble opinion, exact match domains are still working as well as ever, I've ranked a few local service EMD's recently top 3 in a few weeks with good on page seo and a few good backlinks. Never tried free hosts tbh not sure about them.

No offense or anything to anyone...

But the use of ADHD as an excuse for not being successful in any given task, project, job w/e, is one of the biggest loads of shit I have seen in my life.

I know several people who use this as their excuse...

Just pull up your socks, and get down to it. If you are committed, you WILL succeed!

That's it :)

you sound a lot like me. Grand plans five years out but I only ever make it a few weeks into any new hobby. It's a bad habit that's tough to break but I get distracted by shiny's.

Anyway, it's not really necessary to include the keyword in your URL. It's generally a minor factor. I don't know how long you've been back in the game but Google is targeting EMD's and PMD's right now. That's not to say an EMD can't rank or that it would hurt to have an EMD. People still rank them, just be careful not to over-optimize on-page with the keyword phrase in your URL. Realistically, if you can stack all the other factors in your favor (especially if you can do links without incurring a penalty) in a niche that isn't highly competitive you'll be fine without the keyword in the URL.

As far as hosting, well... I would advise against it though I don't know if there are any real ranking penalties involved with it to be perfectly honest. I don't actually know much about free hosts but if you went with free hosting I would almost certainly NOT go with Google, you want to keep your data out of their systems as much as possible. Especially if you're doing BH

You do know ADHD is a real disability right? Many can power through it especially with a high IQ, but it can be very mentally exhausting. With severe inattentive type you can have serious motivation issues. Not like "I don't feel like it" kind of motivation. Not talking drive here. The kind that even if you love to do something you enjoy it's very difficult to initiate or finish. It depends on the subtype and how severe it is.

Anyways, I digress.

OP. Keyword in domain and URL means you need to use the KW a little less with the on page SEO. Not in the domain or URL means you need to up the density a little. At least this is what I hear. There is a lot of talk about "brand" though. If you create a reputable brand name the URL is somewhat meaningless.

Having the keyword in the URL does help, but I prefer brandable names now

Hi and ty everyone for your responses, each one gives me a insight on views I did not have before, hence the reason I came her asking :)

You do have a point that I should pull up my socks and staying commited I will succeed, and that I know. I won't try to explain an analogy but we all know these diseases are very real and I'll leave it at that.

Although I am interested in what you goes are meaning by "BRANDING", brandible names now? You mean selling big name brands or known items etc?? Instead of quick make money schemes??

And I do have my own hosting, but do not want to pay $10 everytime I want to try an idea, and thats why I had this question in the first place. I am sure there is free domain names out there like "" etc.. so would using something like that be ok to use for "trying" things out?
