Im sure we have all read guides or watched videos where they bang on about relevance. I am hunting down a domain with good metrics to turn into my main site and then il be looking for the same for the PBN sites. How important do you think relevance is?. For instance, say i found a good domain based around the sport niche and i wanted to convert it into a local dentist site?. Could the domain be penalised?. Are any you guys doing this or do you always try find niche relevance?.

If the PBN domain is named something like say baseballplays.com, you obviously do not want to put up a site on dentistry here. You also definitely want the link to your moneysite to be relevant to the dentistry niche. There are ways to get creative with this - for example - continue to have a site around the baseball/sports niche and maybe write an article about how a particular sports person broke his tooth and had to visit a dentist to get it fixed. In this article, do write enough about tooth issues that sports people face (to make the article topic relevant to both the sports and dentistry niche)

Ideally this is something you want to think about when you are buying the domain for the PBN - i.e. always think about how natural the link from this domain to your specific money site will look, before you buy the domain.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply Nikita. The domains i am looking to build the main site on are pretty random, not really any particular keyword in the name. It was more the backlink history i was worried about. Having years worth of sport links going to the domain then suddenly its a dentist site with PBN links going in. I do understand what you mean though

Like Nikita say use it for sports related issue. If domain is more general with sport bl then u should use it for sport + tooth. This way you get some more related market to focus on.
