Importance of anchor

Trying to spam a little here, and put a link in my signature. However, I really wanna use my anchor, I just figured using my alias would raise less eyebrowns when it comes to spam.. Trying to use the anchor as often as possible though.

So the question is: how bad am I ruining things for myself by using my alias as anchor instead of a keyword?

Diversity is a good thing in my opinion.I'm pretty sure that using the same keyword for all your backlinks wont look really natural to Google

You need to have your keyword in you anchor for an effective link. Find sites which are unmoderated, and you will be able to do this.

People will say that "a link is a link" but how is the google bot going to know what to rank you for if you don't have the right anchor text?

Haspel is right, you should vary your anchor, say 1/4 non keyword anchors, 1/4 exact keyword anchors, and 1/2 anchors with the keyword in but with some other words too.

actually ... the anchor text that's the point of it .. keyword => link ... if you are using some silly nicknames the nickname will become your keyword .... it's good but it's not giving you any strength

But I will still get link juice, right? PR?
