Hi all, I wonder if the more experienced SEO members can give me some insight.

I am currently researching a domain name for my niche and I want make the best SEO decisions as much as possible from the very start.
I have used keyword planner and found some keywords with reasonable traffic (200k worldwide searches a month).

No surprise that keyword URL is already taken. e.g. lets say keyword is reddog first keyword = X , second = Y ; so X=RED , Y=DOG, in this example. XY.COM is taken.

    First Question
would YX.COM be just as good for SEO, or does the word order matter?

If word order matters what kind of significance does it have?

    Second Question
I have managed to find a XYF.COM where F is some other word that sounds ok alongside the first two.

Will I still benefit from the search traffic from the URL perspective if I registered this, all onpage SEO etc being equal, or does it detract greatly from the SEO benefits of the URL to add another word.

Last question...What kind of impact does the domain name of a site have on SEO ranking? Thanks guys
