    I stumbled across this site.. the way he used adsense is pretty smart dont cha think? .. most non techies would easily click them ads..

    As long as you dont entice them to click or tell them to, it's not against TOS. Looks like regular adsense to me.

    Yup, doesn't look like it violates TOS at all.

    Gives me good ideas to try.

    I would think G is going to see that as the same as putting pics near your ads. It entices the user to click without coming out and saying "click here." That's why pics near your ads - even unrelated - are against TOS.

    It does break the TOS. The only text you are allowed above an AdSense unit is "Advertisements" or "Sponsored Links".

    Yup that site is breaking T.O.S 100% sure, but im sure it would work (smaller ctr) without the titles.

    having those header (h1) tags above each ad is a violation. They should add some lines of text under each heading and then it would be ok.

    Inspirational? It is so obvious that Google had to write it into their terms to stop the people trying it. I think you will find the other networks have similar terms. They don't want to piss off their advertisers and low converting ads will do that.
