    Hey guys.

On some of my niche's keywords, I'm seeing 3 images at the top most of the organic search listings. Although I'm #1 on that term, the image above my search result, really takes away the glory and potentials (my niche is "image speaks louder than words" type).

So I was wondering, do you know how it works?

Is it about the amount of hotlinking + descriptions near the image tag?
Is it all about anchor text with title, boxing the image?
Is it about the number of inbound links to the page, which happened to have that image?

If I can crack the secret code to this, then I can also proceed to draft a plan to score organic image results for my other keywords!

this is a good question... if i check the pic domains there are old sites with a lot of trust and also every url have sitelinks in the searchresults with direct link to the pictures.... if you check also the image search you will see that the first 3 pictures are the same files from the organic result...im not sure if this function comes from the algorithm or from manual adjustment (quallity rater)....sorry for my taxi driver english :)
