Just wondering whether anyone has any experience or knowledge they can share on this topic.

I have an image based website, with funny pictures similar to those you'd find on *****, collegehumour etc.

I was just wondering - where do I stand with Big G in relation to unique content? Does Google "read" the image in some way, or does it assume that the same filename=the same image? Some of my images are unique, but most are on other similar websites across the web, so I'm just wondering whether I'll be hit by a dupe content penalty.

I could just amend the images slightly, add some text or something, but it would still be 99% the same image.

    Anyone come across this before?

2nd question - anyone know whether Adsense would be likely to ban my site for displaying images that might be slightly suggestive, eg the type that would be in this gallery: http://www.collegehumor.com/pictures/sexy
