Image photo rating script help??

Hey Guys,

I've been pretty much searching non-stop for the past 2 days and It's come to the point where I've come to make a forum post.

I'm pretty much setting up a similar website to 'hot or not'. For those who don't know its a website where a user uploads an image of themself and other people can vote if the image is "hot" or "not" and it delivers them a rating based on peoples votes.

I'm looking for a free script that will do something like this. I basically want me users to be able to upload a photo and have other members vote on it. The reason I'm asking for a free script is because I don't really have any money to invest in this project at the moment. I want to start my way off small with a free script and journey on and make my way up.

The problem being I've searched and searched and haven't been able to find anything decent. JNShosts have a free 'Hot or not' clone script but for some reason after setting it up I cant access the admin control panel, it keeps saying my username and password are incorrect. I've tried Destiney however its a bit old and functions are minimal. I've also tried 'Open hot or not' but I don't like it. These are the 3 main ones, is anyone else able to suggest anymore?

You didn't really specify how you want it to work, randomly to every user or would the picture stick for some amount of time.

I did a quick search and found a plugin called "hot or not", haha. There is also "Pics Mash" which might fit your needs. If you need a certain function, auxiliarus is right - we need to know what the plugin should be able to do

'Hot or Not' is basically an existing website where members can make an account, upload their images and have other users decide if they are "hot" or "not". I'm basically looking to create a similar site but obviously for my own niche. I want the users to be able to make an account, upload an image and have other members rate that particular image from 1-10.. As people rate their image it will give them an average score.

I'm basically looking for a free script that will achieve this. The 3 scripts I mentioned in my original post basically do this but they are just old, out dated and a complete mess. I've bee trying to use the free script 'Open hot or not' but its just so difficult to edit because the person who originally coded it made a complete mess doing so. There are tones of paid ones out there but I don't have a budget to start this project with, hence why I'm looking for a freebie.

I haven't been using a content management system like Wordpress, so I assume when you say you found a plugin you're referring to wordpress? Maybe I'll check it out.. I've just been using Dreamweaver and editing the said script above.

I had a look at the plugin "Pic mash" I prefer not to use this because the "free" version lacks in features and I know I'm not really in place to be picky since I'm looking for free, but I really cant use it for what I need. The other plugin called "hot or not" is exactly what I'm looking for.. It has a 1-10 rating system for the image however you need to use the pro version for users to upload their own images... So I cant really use that either
