I used to use this method a lot. It has high CTR and covers the real link behind an image. Now, all image links turn white immediately after page refresh (link shared only once). I do this: - Upload image to my site. - Copy the link and debug it using facebook sharer debugger. - Create the post with image link and actually post it. - Now edit .htaccess and make a 301 redirect to the real link - Make sure I'll never post the image on FB again or else it'll be updated to include the open graph meta tags of the redirect. That used to work, now this month it's no longer working. You can post the image, and clicking it will really trigger a redirect... BUT it turns white as soon as I refresh the page. Anyway to counter this? This is driving me crazy now.
